A Unique Ecosystem

The protected area is home to a wide variety of habitats such as the Seagrass Meadows of Posidonia Oceanica which is essential for all marine life and rocky reefs - full of biodiversity - where species such as groupers, barracudas, octopus, and nudibranchs can be found and even occasional encounters with sea turtles.

These waters are not only a paradise for divers but also a key site for marine research and conservation.

Located on the South Eastern tip of Sardinia, the Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara is one of the most valuable ecosystems in the Mediterranean. Crystal-clear waters, rich biodiversity, and stunning underwater landscapes make it an exceptional destination for responsible diving. At Divers Tribe, we believe that exploring the Ocean also means protecting it. That’s why all our activities are designed to minimise environmental impact and actively contribute to the conservation of this unique environment.
