Capo Carbonara
Marine park

A Unique Ecosystem
The protected area is home to a wide variety of habitats such as the Seagrass Meadows of Posidonia Oceanica which is essential for all marine life and rocky reefs - full of biodiversity - where species such as groupers, barracudas, octopus, and nudibranchs can be found and even occasional encounters with sea turtles.
These waters are not only a paradise for divers but also a key site for marine research and conservation.
