Divemaster Academy
Our Divemaster programme is the first step towards your professional diving career. You will learn from each instructor and from every hour spent underwater. Our goal with your training is to make you an independent leader ready to anticipates scenarios, always choosing safety and to share our love for diving so that you can have fun. We believe in a multidimensional training, covering as many sides of diving as possible. Through knowledge development sessions, water skills exercises, workshops and hands-on practical assessments, you will develop the skills to organise and conduct a variety of scuba activities. Once your training with us is complete you will walk away fully qualified as an SSI Divermaster and as part of a new global family - so what are you waiting for?
Training
The Divemaster Workshops and training include:
The role and characteristics of a Divemaster
Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers
Diver safety and risk management
Divemaster conducted programmes and specialised skills
Business of diving and your career
Awareness of the dive environment
Dive setup and management (current checks, making decisions)
Paperwork and compressor
Mapping an open water site
Conducting dive briefings
Organising a search and recovery project and a deep dive
Conducting a scuba review and skin diver course
Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving and leading Discover Local Diving programs
Daily training with Chiara and Jon
Unlimited diving

Possibility to extend to second/third month in exchange for help in the dive centre (food, accommodation, dives included)
